Often we find ourselves consumed by our modern technology. Children that once loved to go outside and play until the sun goes down, now sit in the dark shouting into a headset, exploring vast virtual landscapes with friends, either shooting, driving, flying, etc. We as a collective seem to have forgotten that there is a plethora of beauty and majesty all around us, free of charge. The only small price we pay for admission into this experience, is our time. Putting down that Iphone 12, that controller, that television remote. This is something that I personally try and do every single chance that I get. In this photograph, consequently captured on my old trusty IPhone 6 (a relic, I know haha), we see a honey bee, one of nature’s workhorses, taking advantage of the beautiful morning and enjoying The nectars of a lone white flower. Such a little creature, yet such a tremendous purpose they serve, and to capture this moment in a photograph is not only a humbling experience, but a privilege.
